CALC Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the CALC application or visiting calc.webblabs.org(collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CALC is a multi-mode calculator application featuring 42 specialised calculator modes, AI-powered step-by-step math solving (Math AI), Photo-Math OCR, handwriting recognition, cloud sync, and financial report exports. Premium features — including unlimited calculation history, advanced modes, Math AI, and cloud sync — are available via paid subscription.

3. Account Registration

You may use certain features without an account. To access group sync, expense history backup, and premium features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

CALC offers free and premium tiers. Premium subscriptions are billed through the web checkout system powered by Stripe. Prices are displayed before purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

Refunds are handled in accordance with applicable law and Stripe's policies. You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity of the Service
• Use automated means to access the Service beyond normal app usage

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its code, design, content, and trademarks, is owned by Webblabs LLC. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes (or commercial purposes if using a premium subscription).

7. Calculations and Math AI

CALC provides calculation tools for informational and convenience purposes only. Results produced by the app, including those generated by the Math AI feature, should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional financial, engineering, medical, or other expert advice. We are not responsible for decisions made based on calculations performed by the app. The Math AI feature is powered by large language model technology and may produce errors; always verify critical results independently.

8. Calculation History and User Data

Calculations you perform are saved locally and, for premium subscribers, synced to our servers. Do not enter confidential information (e.g., passwords, private keys) into calculation expressions. You may export or delete your calculation history at any time from Settings.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WEBBLABS LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Warranty Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes via in-app notification or email. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
